Dodo Lip-sync Test

This is a quick test to see if the replacement mouths I made will work.

This is for my external brief at uni, called Don't Do the Dodo.

Voice is the one and only Bill Oddy!

Some Monster Hunter Line tests!

Here are some line tests for my animation.

The first is just a run cycle I made of the main character to see how he looks :

These next two are of the Acid Weeping Aardvark:

I have also started on the screaming zicckle back animation, I just need to re do the blink close up on him and he is also done.

I will also be re-shuffling some of my scenes of the film so it starts off at the Drunken Badger Inn and we will see these guys later on in the animation.

One more thing I want to talk about is the new vimeo, I very happy they have now gotten rid of the 30 minute wait once you've uploaded something, the only little change I don't like is that you have to click on the file settings of your upload to name and write the description, I liked it under the upload bar so I could write it up while watching it upload, but saying that I rather be this way than have the 30 minute wait =P

tomorrow I should have some more line tests to show you all!

HAPPY BLOG-DAY!

Happy Blog-day! It's been a year today since I started this blog, so to mark the occasion I decided to do a quick new take on the first picture I uploaded.

Within this year my blog has gone through I think about five different designs, but I finally happy with one and plan on sticking to it (for at least another month or so).

I've found since I had this blog I show alot more of my work that I'm proud of, and it's been great to see what industry professionals have been getting up to by following their blogs.

One of the most inspiring blogs has to be Deja View [ http://andreasdeja.blogspot.com/ ] which posts pencil tests and design sheets from loads of famous films, alot of the disney. This gives you a great insight into the films and their design process which is great to read up on.

More importantly once I start getting my work out into festivals and such this year my blog comes up as the number search in google when you search Artmonkeymg so it's help with the easy part of making my work easy to find, now I just need to get people wanting to look for it =P

Hopefully by next year I'll be working in a professional studio myself, and have alot more work to show off to you all!

It's not my best work, but I had fun doing the Lip sync.
